• Jeff Matthews

My name is Jeff Matthews and I have enjoyed working at St. Francis Seraph School since 2012. I loved being the Kindergarten teacher for the first six years, and then I made the switch to become the Preschool teacher in 2018. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, where I attended St. Xavier High School. In 2005, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Marketing from Wright State University. After a few unfulfilling years in the business world, I decided to finally pursue my dream of becoming a teacher. I quit my job, moved back to Cincinnati, and enrolled at Xavier University, where I graduated in 2012 with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I enjoy spending my free time in the great outdoors hiking and camping with my wife, Christina and our dog Yogi.
